Herniated disk
KKT chiropractic treatment utilizes advanced medical technology to treat spine, back, and neck pain.
KKT focuses on a scientific approach to treating back, neck, and joint pain as well as other spine-related issues such as disc pain and sciatica. KKT not only treats the pain, but also identifies and treats the root of the issue. KKT medical treatment is designed to treat and realign the spine without pain or surgery with the goal of returning the body to its natural state. KKT Chiropractic Center treatment uses highly advanced technology that uses sound waves to relieve pain and promote the health of the spinal discs, ligaments, and muscles of the spine.
The spine is made up of bony vertebrae lined with a set of oval-shaped cartilaginous discs consisting of a hard outer layer (the cortex) and a soft inner layer (the nucleus). A herniated disc, sometimes called a slipped or ruptured disc, occurs when a small portion of the disc’s nucleus pushes outward through a crack in the cortex and into the spinal cord. This condition irritates the nerves and results in pain, numbness or weakness in the muscles of the back, lower or upper limbs, and in some cases the spinal cord is compressed, leading to the development of symptoms.
Most sufferers of this condition complain of back pain that radiates to the hands or feet, making daily activities difficult and unbearable due to the pain.
Signs to watch out for

Herniated disk care
A person suffering from a disc should not bend, twist, or carry heavy objects, and make sure to use a medium-height, medium-firm pillow so that the neck does not rise above the level of the back. In addition to placing a thin pillow between the knees while sleeping on the sides. If you sleep on your back, place a pillow under your knees.
Changing your seating position may help relieve pain. Place your feet on a small stool so that your back rests on the backrest or adjust your chair so that it leans forward. Disc herniations are usually seen in people between the ages of 30-40. People who spend a lot of time sitting or those who twist their backs a lot are more likely to develop herniated discs.
